These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which we quote and carry out work. They are deliberately short.

Using this site
The content here — guides, pricing, photographs, and descriptions of our work — is ours, and is published so homeowners can make an informed decision. You are welcome to read it, print it, and quote it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale onto another contractor's website.
Prices on this site are starting prices
This matters, so we will be plain about it. The figures published on our service and cost pages are honest starting prices and typical ranges for ordinary Raleigh-area homes. They are not a quote.
What a job actually costs depends on the number of systems and vents, the length and routing of the runs, access, and what we find when we get there. We give you a firm price before any work begins, and we do not start until you have agreed to it. If we find something that changes the price, we stop and tell you first.
Scheduling
We answer the phone around the clock and schedule on-site work seven days a week. If you need to move or cancel an appointment, call us — we would simply rather know in advance.
Our guarantee
We guarantee our work. If you are not satisfied with a cleaning we carried out, call us and we will come back and make it right. That guarantee covers the work we did; it does not extend to pre-existing faults in your HVAC system, ductwork, dryer or chimney that we identified and reported to you.
What we are not
We clean, sanitise and inspect. We are not your HVAC installer, electrician or chimney mason. Where we find a defect that needs a different trade — a cracked flue liner, a failing blower motor, a disconnected vent inside a wall — we will document it, show you the photographs, and tell you plainly what we think. Acting on that is your decision.
Photographs
We photograph every job before and after. Those photographs are yours and we give them to you. We may also publish before-and-after images of ductwork, vents or equipment as examples of our work; they never identify your address. Ask us not to publish yours and we will not.
Liability
We are licensed in North Carolina and insured, and we are responsible for our own work and for damage we cause. We are not responsible for the failure of equipment that was already faulty, nor for consequences flowing from a repair you chose not to make after we reported it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of North Carolina.
Changes
We will update the date at the top when these terms change.
